Pacific Sun - A Digressive Investigation

Cruise ships are deterritorialized lawless bubbles, global by nature, and they offer great insight into our society. Taking as a starting point Thomas Demand's piece 'Pacific Sun', which recreates a Youtube video of the cruise ship Pacific Sun violently rolling in heavy seas, the lecture develops as a mise-en-scène of research, while a dense narration encompassing as much information as possible on the ship's many past lives unravels.
